Adair Margo received the Promotora of the Year from Mexican President Manuel Lopez Obrador at the annual Tanguis Turistica Conference in Merida, Yucatán on Nov 15, 2021. Adair received the award for her work as Chairman of the Presidents Committee on the Arts and Humanities, UNESCO, and founder of the Tom Lea Institute. The Award recognizes the bi-national work of Margo and Tom Lea Institute to promote bi-national tourism with Mexico.
